In my image I wanted to convey the feeling of comfort that a home brings. In my opinion, a "home" doesn't have to be the same place in which someone lives. A home is wherever someone feels safe and like they can relax. To me, a home is not the same thing as a house.

To portray the safety that individuals feel in a home, I used a blanket to cover the two characters in the image and had them sitting next to each other. The blanket represents the comfort and security that accompanies a home, while the close proximity of the two characters shows that they are comfortable around each other and in their environment. A home is where people like to spend time with each other and is created with loved ones; it is not just a building. Because of this, I included more than one character, as well as the pictures of friends and other people in the background. The friends are laughing and sitting in a bed to further emphasize their connection and appreciation for each other.
