To ​convey the idea of a failure, I wanted to show someone who is not finishing what they started. I took the idea of someone not finishing a race and portrayed it through a racing game. By not crossing the finish line, the person who did not finish the race failed to complete the task at hand and reach their goal.

 

In this racing game, the bottom player has already finished the race, but the top player has not made it across the finish line. The words "finish" are flashing across the top player's screen but it not fully there to show that the top play is done racing, but has not made it across the finish line. The controller of the top player is still in the hands of the player as if they were still trying to continue the game and finish the race.
